Pick the first thing people should notice

Every screen needs a focal point. A reading page should lead with the article. A task tool should lead with the task. Do not give every card equal visual weight when the user does not value them equally.

Use space to explain relationships

Keep related controls together and separate different jobs. A field label belongs near its input. Destructive actions should not compete with routine actions. Use a consistent spacing rhythm rather than improvising every gap.

Recompose the mobile experience

Do not squeeze a desktop arrangement onto a phone. Stack related content, preserve important actions, and give touch targets enough room. Check keyboard focus and contrast as carefully as color and typography.

Put the idea into practice

Choose one small workflow in your project. Write down what happens today and the single change that would make it clearer or more reliable. Describe what should stay unchanged, then work through the result from a visitor’s point of view.

Keep your acceptance criteria specific. A phrase such as “make it professional” is hard to verify. A sentence such as “after saving, the new task appears in the list and remains after a refresh” gives you a concrete outcome to evaluate.
